WHO IS YOUR ICON?

Do not let your ICON change your Decisions.

When I was growing up, I had icons like Michael Jordon and the Chicago Bulls! The goalkeeper of the Montreal Canadians
Patrick Roy and the television series POWER RANGERS.

These were the people and things I looked up to and were my ICON's. But what is it or who is it, you look to today as an ICON?

They shaped me to Love basketball and want to be the next best goaltender despite my inability to skate.

I find as I get older there are so many things that grab my attention now. Where as when I was a young LAD the only

things that seemed to grab my attention were shiny things... Wait, who am I kidding shiny things do still Grab my

attention.

Here is the difference though, those shiny things when you were a kid may or may not have affected how your next

financial decisions will play out. Ok, I'll humor you maybe you would go buy some Bulls memorabilia with your allowance.

But, they were people or things you looked up to. They shaped what you looked forward to or wanted to be.

But now that I am older these ICON's that we have today, seem to have a way of bending my thought process. And

they can even cloud my vision, like really bad.

Icons are no longer distant actors or pro sports players but they are now identifiable and seem so much more intimate.

Not intimate in the sexual sense, but intimate in a way that you can relate with them, and feel like you even know them

because you have been #following them for so long. We are basically glorified stalkers, but we call our selves

followers..LOL

So where am I going with this?

Be Careful out there

Be careful how much trust you put in, to people that you watch on a daily basis. I hear terrible stories, and we joke now,

but they are still terrible. Of the whole Bitconnect Sham. But why did anyone fall for this when the writing was on the wall?

Because many of the people that got them involved they trusted. DYOR is tossed around like a catch phrase. But in reality we all need to stop taking at face value what our ICONS are saying and do our own research.

Why did I choose ICONS?

I choose ICON because those are the people we seem to follow. Even more so than our parents at times or those closest to us.

So really I just want to say be careful with how trusting you are always make sure you have done your research and don't get caught with your pants down. At the end of the day, if they say sorry. That wont change the fact that you may have just lost everything because you followed after someone you adored.

Stay safe out there!
