In summary, I would not call it a success but it did make me realize a number of helpful things in this experimental journey of blogging which is now going on three years now. Earnings have been tamed but the value I have gotten is a great source of information and perspectives on a number of projects that I would not have had otherwise. While I had originally gotten the same from HIVE and Steem, these quickly reverted back to native Dapps and projects which is also fine because I am committed to the ecosystem. However, when approaches in DeFi like yield farming grew exponentially, I found that Publish0x was a great source.
The authors on the platform seems to be more technical in nature which is great as it gives additional insights to projects. However, sometime finding the right article is tough as it is a bit challenging to find a consistent source of personal preferences. Following authors for this purposes has been hit or miss in many cases. I often find myself ironically following the same authors I do on the HIVE/Steem ecosystem! I may be biased to them but I like to support them considering how vested I am there.
I still find the incentive system very interesting and while it seems less protocol like, it still is enough to encourage some level of engagement. Like many incentive based blogging platforms, spam on the comments is present but not as bad as I have seen in some platforms. The recent surge in GAS fees have continually become a problem for content creators but given my approach of leaving them there, no issue for me. However, the way the community has engaged to find ways to solve the issue is great to experience. The crypto focused community continues to impress me on the comradery present to make projects successful.
It has opened my eyes to a number of interesting projects! Finding balances of Loopring, FARM among others over the last year or so has always been interesting to track and learn from. As I often say, we never know which can become the next "lottery tickets" in our wallets! I have not earned enough to call out any successes but have seen a number of users leverage the platform to expand their reach with great content. In the end, more content surrounding Crypto and Blockchain helps the ecosystem which is more than welcomed! I will continue to engage there with the hope to add to my reach over time.
