Not sure what it is exactly, but there does seem to be a lot to adjust to in this new service apartment. Even more than the quarantine hotel. Having moved around a bit for the last ten or so years, this is the place where I feel the most adjustment is required.
For starters, the language. Nothing is in English or a language that I can read. From the washing machine settings to the air con remote... I wish they just used pictures or something instead of words. Power socket is different and the apartment here only has two universal sockets in the whole apartment.
One other thing is that road crossings here are a lot crazier than I expected. Almost every crossing is like 10 lanes wide with no island in between. Most other countries give you an overhead bridge option for something this wide. So to get to the kids school, I have like 24 lanes to cross now, compared to one previously. Man, I miss that place already.
