Today's the first day at school for the kids and we got ready extra early for school. Think we were all ready to leave the house by 8 but took a couple of extra minutes before leaving just so that we made sure that we had everything. Did things go according to plan? Not quite.
For one it was raining pretty heavily and there was no taxis in sight. Ok so Uber to the rescue, right? Unfortunately, there were no Ubers either. The nearest cars were 11 minutes away. A bit too far. So we went down and asked the concierge for a bit of help. They managed to get a cab 5 minutes away and we were off.
Car ride was pretty quick and we reached the school in under 10 minutes. Lots of traffic. Can't imagine driving in this place and hopefully I won't have to. Way too many cars and bikes and pedestrians. All squeezing together and not giving much space. Maybe it gets better in the countryside but in the city, seems like more trouble than its worth.
This is the first week in a month that I have some peace to get work done. Actually it has been more than a month as the last two weeks before moving I was tied up with cleaning up the place and settling all the moving stuff.
