Work Experience as a banker

Hi Friends am back again,

if you recall I wrote about my work experience as a secretary and now I am sharing my experience as a banker. You may wonder why or how I worked in a law firm and also in a bank but it's simple, I wasn't opportuned to get admitted in school in time so I used the time I spent at home to work as a secretary while I gained my bank experience during my one year industrial training after I graduated from my National Diploma.
My first week at work was my training time, I was posted to transaction service group (T.S.G) specifically in bulk room where we were meant to receive cash from hundred thousand naira and above. I was assigned to a colleague of mine who is supposed to direct me on how to receive cash from customers, how to identify fake currency notes, how to arrange cash in packs, boundle, stack. I was also thought how to register each transaction and how to balance it.
The next week I was nervous at first because I worked alone and the thought of not being able to meet up with the bank expectations got to me but what can I say I did my best and I am glad I was able to pull through, this doesn't mean that I was perfect because along the line I received fake notes from customers which I eventually paid with my money.
Let's talk about the customers, in a bank you meet different types of customers, the good and patient type (those who are ready to follow the rules and orders of the bank), the bad( those who come in to cause distraction and to monitor other customers), the illiterate ( those who find it difficult to write and spell), the flirt ( those who are ready to come to the bank every day just to get your contact even if their transaction can be done online they don't mind the stress), it was interesting transacting with these customers.
Just as weather affect other things it also affect the bank sector, the two common season are raining and dry season. In dry season the process of counting money is easy because the machine works well with it but in raining season we receive wet cash from customers who got wet on their way to the bank which we very well know that the machine can't count, we can't send the customers back all we have to do is hand count the cash which takes longer time compared with the counting machine. To my understanding I would say bank job in T.S.G is a daily routine and the only change in the routine is the customers.
This is a brief piece of my experience in the banking sector, thanks for reading and d1. itemon't forget to vote and follow. Await my next post on celebration and joyful moment I had in the bank..
I forgot to add something, please don't waste your time on things that don't bring laughter and money to your life. When I said laughter I meant your loved ones and friends while for money I meant your job. A friend of mine once told me that the slower you do things the more time you have (@ecoalex), am still trying to figure it out.
