...Which leaves much to be desired, to put it mildly (I refrain from swearing as much as I can). I had to access my followed authors list, but I was unable to see it anywhere on the website menu or on my profile. So I requested a live chat with an assistant.
All I wanted them is to explain me a path to my Followed Authors list as if I was a 5-year-old. Then a portal to hell opened.
One assistant passed my request on to another one, the other one passed it on to the third one, and none of them really understood what I wanted, despite me sending screenshots and explaining my request over again (as if they were actually 5-year-olds). None of the assistants warned me they would have someone else tackle my issue (which looked so easy, ha-ha). None of them cared, none of them actually understood what I wanted. Chat GPT would have processed the issue better.
Finally, I found one of my followed authors on my Purchase list and procured the Follows menu by myself.
What's the conclusion? The overworking and severely underpaid staff has no actual interest in what they do, and I can understand them. And it's a shame the company does next to nothing to improve the working conditions and provide some decent training. They may say whatever they say, but small daily interactions speak for themselves much better.
