Yes, that's the idea. I love the subject and I am worried about how dense and difficult it can be to approach it. That's why I started a tour of the subject with a language easier to understand and good examples.

I think its interesting but since I'm not familiar with the jargon, key people, and concepts; yes, it's difficult to follow. If this is your niche topic, it may be well for you to think of everyone as children to the topic— like you're teaching children. Of course, there are many genius people here. But even genius people don't like to overwork their mind. It may help to start with terms, introducing people and what they contributed, some examples in the real world, etc.
