I think the lesson that can be learned from this here is that Tekashi 6ix9ine is an extreme case of when chasing clout and trying to pretend to be somebody that you’re not on social media goes wrong. Sadly in this day and age, a lot of people are guilty of this, just not to this extreme, but this is what social media has allowed for society to devolve to. Everybody wants to be famous and hold money phones up to their ear on Instagram and Facebook and some people are so desperate to put on that illusion of being successful in life that they will literally do anything, even if it means to risk spending the rest of their lives in jail just to create the illusion. Another example of this has to deal with one of those dudes who killed rapper XXXTentacion. Don’t know if you all recall, but after they robbed and killed XXXTentacion, one of the killers was flexing on Instagram holding up the stacks of money they killed him over literally within hours after XXXTentacion’s death.
