Hydroponic technique is a technique for growing crops without using soil media. So for you who want to cultivate some plants but do not have adequate land this technique is a technique that can be your solution.

And one of the plants that can be cultivated using this hydroponic technique is a tomato plant. Hydroponics tomatoes is already a lot of people who try to cultivate it.

How to plant hydroponic tomatoes is not difficult. Actually the technique is the same as other hydroponic planting techniques. Only different seeds will be planted.
Here are the steps for growing hydroponic tomatoes in pots or polybags.

Seedling Tomato Seedlings

Same with planting plants in general. Seeds to be planted should be sown in advance to be planted seedlings. The way to sow tomato seedlings is easy.
The dried tomato seed is sown in a small plastic container box and contains a chaff medium, for hydroponics the husk medium used is rockwool. Tomato seeds were recorded for approximately 2 months.
If the tomato seeds have grown approximately 15 cm, meaning that the tomato seeds are ready to be transferred to the real planting medium. In this case the planting medium used is pots or polybags as high as 30-35 cm.

Media Planting Tomato Seedlings

As already explained above, the planting medium to be used is a pot or polybag. The planting medium is filled with 2 kg of husk husk. Dry husk can be dry rice that has been burned first.

Once inserted charcoal husk, planting media will be placed in the greenhouse and the distance between the media planting one with another about 30-40 cm. This separation aims for later tomato plants that grow not bersingguhan each other.

Tomato Cultivation Process

Planting is the stage to move the seeds of tomatoes that have been sown into the planting medium in the form of polybags or pots that have been filled charcoal husk. If you want to increase the fertility of the planting medium you use. Better you add nutrients to the planting medium, such as the nutrient AB mix into the hole that has been prepared.

And make sure when watering the nutrition of the planting media, the leaves of plants are not exposed to splashes of these nutrients. Because it can be fatal consequences. And try also the leaves do not touch the husk husk.
Maintenance of Hydroponics Tomatoes

Maintenance of this hydroponic tomato plant is somewhat different from other hydroponic plants. Because in the laying of hydroponic tomatoes better placed in the greenhouse in order to avoid pest attacks that will harm us.

In addition, the maintenance method is the same as other hydroponics plants. So we are not too busy to cultivate this tomato plant with hydroponics techniques

Tomato Seeds Routine Checked

There are several ways to check this hydroponic tomato plant. Checks should be done regularly if you want to get a satisfactory result. For this checking schedule you can do it 1 week 2 times or once a week.

Things to check are the leaves that fall to the planting medium, if exposed to pests better provide nutrients for the leaves to avoid other pests. Then check if there are insects or pests attached to the plant and the last is to remove the rotten tomatoes.

The disposal of this rotten tomato is indispensable. Because if there is a rotten tomato left then it can spread to other tomatoes. So you can get big loss. Therefore you should be more observant to see the rotten tomatoes.

Hydroponic Tomatoes Routine Watered

For the watering of tomato plants is usually done simultaneously with fertilization. Because the fertilizer used for hydroponics plants is a fertilizer that must be dissolved first into the water, so the fertilizer is also a nutrient for plants.

And the fertilizer used is not the usual fertilizer, but the special fertilizer hydroponics plant. The most commonly used fertilizers are Nutrition AB and Lewatit HD-5.

And watering time is better done at 7 am or 4 pm. Because at that time the greenhouse temperature was in normal circumstances.

Time to Harvest Tomatoes

Regular harvesting of hydroponic tomatoes can be done after 2-3 months after planting. And one hydroponic tomato plant you can harvest it 2 times, and within 10 months. If it has 2 times harvest, then the tomato should be replaced with new seeds.

For hydroponic tomatoes it is better not to wash it first so it is not easy to experience rotten. So you better clean it with a dry cloth and immediately dipack if you want to sell it.

That was incredible post ...
Upped and resteem go up

Wooww hebat dan mudah. Tulisan inovatif. Thanks @orangkaya

I am not usually that drawn to food posts nor am I drawn to tomatoes. Which makes me wonder how I got here - but at any rate I am here. I read your post . I am impressed with your process and I really need a blt (bacon lettuce tomato sandwich) after reading. Your tomatoes look like a marvel, beautifully symmetrical, and still plump and colorful and I bet juicy and crispy and flavorful. Good job. 🤓

started from the jealous look at the neighboring gardens, finally ventured to try and his results are not so disappointing I often drink very fresh tomato juice
