Pilates, woodpecker and wealth

This morning I made this drawing for the Crayon Contest on Whaleshares. The idea was not to use pen at all. I haven't done this before so it feels shaky. As I was thinking about the theme to draw, I remembered my conversation with Ausra at the breakfast table. There you go!

It was nice to finally have a chance to go to Pilates in the gym. I skipped something like have of the year so the practice wasn't easy. We did all kinds of exercises with big balls. If my will doesn't break I intend to go to the gym at least twice a week from now on.

After a practice session of Pilates I felt the need to renew my calories supply. At home for lunch I had soup with bacon and potatoes, rice, wheat and pork casserole, tomatoes, jelly with milk, honey and blueberies as well as wheat coffee. As I was writing these words, the food was joyfully mixing in my stomach...

Walking in the woods was especially nice because today it was still light. So we could see a lot of fallen leaves, even broken trees which seemed dangerous to walk around. Heard a woodpecker which was probably looking for his lunch behind the bark of the pine tree.

When I came home I sat down on the organ bench and played the 3 organ works by Teisutis Makačinas. My recital is a week from this Saturday so today I practiced by stopping at every measure. Music started to sound more familiar in comparison to what it was yesterday.

I had a good excuse not to do pull-ups today - after all I had been to Pilates practice session. But it was actually fun to jump on the rings and pull myself up 5 times especially because then I found this apple under the tree.

Had a nice time recording 3 Secrets of Organ Playing Podcast episodes with Ausra back to back. We talked about loud organ registration, historical fingering and the issues of publishing your own music with some publishing houses.

I ended this day with a comic about Pinky and Spiky celebrating Diwali, Hindu festival of light. This is my entry for the Artstorm contest of today on Steemit. Pinky urged everyone to pray to Lakshmi, Goddess of wealth and prosperity. Then everybody else said if they want to be rich, famous or handsome. Everybody but Pinky. Her secret wish was to be rich...
