Self Critisism

in blog •  6 years ago

Persephone the beautiful goddess of Spring is calling. She is also the queen of the underworld and her story is one of abduction, love, grief and celebration.

Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth. a time to look at yourself with new eyes. To speak to yourself with a new voice.

Constantly criticising yourself?

Do you ever look in the mirror and be proud of who you are and what you’re about?

Self doubt, self criticism and having worthless thoughts about yourself are particularly damaging to your self esteem, especially if these thoughts become habitual.

Not only does it impact how we present, but it can also lead you to feeling pessimistic about your future.

Instead, why not try changing your train of thoughts! Rather than thinking of yourself as ‘an idiot’ if your don’t manage to do something, instead think ‘I’m not perfect, but then nobody is!’ “It is a shame for a person to grow old without ever seeing the strength and beauty of which their body is capable”
