It's rainy and grey...

So here's something that'll brighten up our day!

I know I said I didn't want the extreme hotness we had this last week, but you know, a grey and rainy day also isn't ideal for the fair we're visiting today. Now how am i going to sit on grass?

Actually, now that I mention it, I'll go grab some plastic bags. Our seets for today!

We'll be visiting Zomerfolk today. It'll be filled with folk music, medieval/fantasy stands and all sorts of food and drinks. I'm hoping my favorite mead vendor is there again. Sadly, he's not allowed to sell his bottles there (no glass allowed to roam free), but he does sell his mead to drink there. My favorite is his pinemead (Dutch selling point).

Anyway, I'll try to bring back lots of pictures.

In other news: my new pc arrived yesterday!

I'm so happy! It got delivered in the afternoon, in a huge box. I had to push and drag it to our computer/game room and I had to tip over the boxes a couple of times to get everything out with my lack of strengh. If you're not strong, be smart!

So I hooked it up and then found that the graphics card did not have a VGA entry. Oops. I hooked up the DVI from my second (smaller) monitor and turned the pc on. Perfect! Then I googled to see if there are VGA-HDMI converters. There are! My sweet, sweet boyfriend, who was on his way home by train and bike, decided to take a little detour to get me one of those converters, so by the end of the afternoon, my primary monitor was hooked up and I was ready to go!

I installed SWTOR (Star Wars The Old Republic), because my boyfriend had been dying to play that with me. Besides that, I still have a lot of other things to install, but that's just a matter of time. The pc itself works perfectly. I was wondering about the noise it would make, but it's no louder than my previous one, which was also pretty quiet, so I'm really happy about that too.

Oh and for all of you wondering, no, there are no pretty lights inside when it's turned on.

I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do here today. This afternoon will be fair time and I have no clue how long we'll be staying there. It goes on all evening, but I'm not sure if we'll manage that. Our favorite singer starts at 1 in the afternoon, so we'll be there early.

I think I'll try to share another Personal favorites photography post before I leave, but no promises!
