Good morning Steemit

I've got my tea and the laundry is being washed.

I started my day with a glass of lemon juice in warm water. Trying to get back into that particular habit. I also had to get myself washed up, in the cold bathtub. I'll be so happy once we finally get a proper shower instead!

The fire's hot and it's nice and warm here in the cabin. I'm just trying to decide what to do today. I might want to bake something, but it kind of depends on if I have the right ingredients here. I saw this delicious apple pie in a grocery store's magazine, but I don't have my pie forms here yet. Gotta put them on the list for next time we visit my old home!

So yesterday! We went to my boyfriend's old house, because the real estate agent had told us about a brownish spot on the wall. I guess we missed that when we painted over all of the water damage we had had in the past. Oh well, it's behind the curtain, so you can't see it very well and also, it's explainable. We got that stuff fixed.

We also did a bit of gaming in the morning and made bread. This time it was a simple whole wheat bread. In the evening, I did not feel like making dinner at all... so we ended up ordering pizza. Ofcourse, I quickly scanned the internet for coupon codes, which resulted in a tasty little lava cake for me for only 1/3th of the price! Pizza for dinner means yummy lunch for me the day after, because I can't finish my pizza all at once. I used to be able to, but that was with frozen pizza's from the store. It's either because of that difference, or I just can't eat as much as I used to.

Anyway, I think I wanted to do some things today... I might go and gather some experience in Guild Wars 2 soon. I also want to e-mail my brother. He lost the password to his Steemit account when his computer crashed, so I want to get him a new account. Going to have to know the name he wants to use though.

I'm sure I wanted to do other things aswell, but I just can't remember it. Maybe laundry was one of these things...

Thanks! nah, it's water damage from when there was a leak. We painted over everything on the ceiling, but didn't notice the wall behind the curtain.

I see, bummer! But am glad not fungus/black mold as that would cause so much sickness

Aww thank you very much, I'm glad to hear you like it! It's my boyfriend's favorite out of all of my pictures. He has it on his wall in his old home and it'll soon be decorating one of the walls of the cabin we live in now :-)

Just out of interest.. was your brothers account on Steemit somewhat big already? If he had the password stored on the hard drive, there should be ways to recover material from the computer, depending on what was wrong with it of course.

Still for rest of the post, I'm happy for pizza, cake and gaming :)

Thanks for the suggestion @apsu! The account wasn't very big at all yet, so there wasn't much harm done, besides it being his preferred account name. If he would have lived a bit closer, I would have asked my boyfriend to help him out in recovering the hard drive information, but it's not really an option right now.

Well luckily you can always create a new account :) Hope your brother manages well, I once had to learn how to recover data from a hard drive because there was one major f*** up and I had to recover photos from few years.

Didn't get them all but most of them, so I was happy :)

Hopefully he didn't lose anything else important.

Pff yeah, I remember having to recover my photos after my pc died on me. I managed to recover a couple, but not all of them.

I don't think he lost a lot of other things. Atleast not as far as I know :-)

I've tried to actively backup photos OR make them as paper copies to prevent them being completely lost as easy in the future.

Yeah it is. Luckily I always edited the best ones and posted them on my Deviantart page, so they weren't lost. I also had a backup of quite a lot of them, but there was a period in which I was too lazy on the backup thing, so yeah... guess you learn by example!

I now back them up and as long as I haven't done that, I keep them on both my PC and the SD cards.
