The adventures of last week - Vacation part 4

The last part about our little vacation!

We left things at eating sushi in a restaurant, which is always a good thing ofcourse.

The day after that, we had a slow morning, waiting for most work traffic to be gone, and then we set off towards home again. On the way there, we stopped at my boyfriend's house to do some more chores and cleaning.

I know it sounds like we're always there and doing chores and cleaning and it should be done by now! It's just that we both don't have a lot of energy yet, so we do small amounts of things at a time. It takes much longer than it should, but it's what we can do right now.

The next day, my dad picked us up from home early. We headed over to the gas station to rent a cart and drove to my boyfriend's house again.

You see, there was still some big furniture left at his house, after my brother and his girlfriend picked up some stuff and we need the house empty. My dad was interested in the couch and garden furniture. After a couple of months of wondering how to get the last stuff out, I called my dad and asked him to help us. So off we went with the cart!

We first loaded up the cart with all the stuff my boyfriend wanted to get rid of. We brought that to the trash dump site place. Then we loaded up everything he wanted to keep and brought that over to his dad's place. This is where we will be moving to in a few months, so it made sense to just drop it there, instead of taking it to my place first.

We showed my dad around, so he would know where I was going to live. He figured I'd be very happy there with some more peace and quiet and lots of space to practice our archery!

Last, we loaded up the couch and garden set. It barely fit, but we managed! We then drove back to my dad's house, did some furniture switching from his house to a neighbour's house and from the cart to his house. Then we stayed over for dinner (boy was I hungry by then!). We brought the cart back and got dropped off at my place again.

That was a long day, but it felt so good to have made this step. It leaves us with just a few more things to take care of. A couple of more trips should now do the trick and then the house can finally hit the market to get sold!

So that was our mini vacation in our own country. Some work before and after, but a nice time!
