'He who stops being better stops being good' #5

in blog •  7 years ago  (edited)

In the first few blogs I wrote a lot about mindset and I can recommend you to always work on it and never look at it as you have reached a goal. ("He who stops being better stops being good" - Oliver Cromwell) There is always something to do better!

If you have the same mindset you are safe to take the journey all by yourself as I did 2 years ago since it's pretty easy to get all the informations and inputs you need. (the Internet helps a lot here)
However the hard part about that is that there is too much information out there and sometimes it's hard to see the truth. That's where I wanna help out! Through providing some inputs and telling my story and point of views I wanna help open minds to reach higher awareness and more appreciation for all life on earth. (and everywhere else of course)

A big part at the beginning was gathering information. As I said there is too much information out there. You will find articles, opinions, blogs and even studies that will support your views no matter what you belief. However challenging the status quo and trying to get to the bottom of something with the right techniques clears the fog real quick!

Watching documentaries and reflecting on them was a main part at the start. They often challenged beliefs and "truths" I grew up with. Imagine you learn something new that contradicts everything you have heard about it for your whole life. (In my case 18 years, in yours maybe even longer)
That's where psychology and / or your mindset plays the biggest role! Some just can't accept new facts. Others open their eyes, overlook there ego and act on the new basis of information. (that's really hard since ones ego is usually pretty big)

Just remember that it's ok if you are not one of those you can overthrow all their beliefs overnight. Every step in the right direction is important. Maybe the first step for you is to watch the documentary I attach to this blog instead of streaming Netflix or it's just reflecting about the words you just read, thinking what a douche writes something like that but then realizing that it has some truth to it. As long as you are persistent you will finally get somewhere! Just remember Oliver Cromwell's words! (I really like that quote!)
