There is good news from the world of science for couples looking for children through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Scientists have devised a tool that recognizes fast and strong sperms. By identifying the good quality spark, separating them is the most difficult and tedious task.
It takes hours. Due to this the cost also increases. According to Alireza, Assistant Professor of Cornell University of America, recognizing high quality sperm is difficult, but this device will take several hours to work in just five minutes.
Good sperms are considered to be the same, which can stay contrary to the flow, so scientists first created microfluodic channels, where the sperm floats. It created a system that works like a wall and stops the strongest sperm near you. This research has appeared in the journal PNAS.

इसमें घंटों लग जाते हैं। इस कारण लागत भी बढ़ती है। अमेरिका की कॉरनेल यूनिवर्सिटी की असिस्टेंट प्रफेसर अलीरेजा के मुताबिक, हाई क्वॉलिटी के स्पर्म की पहचान मुश्किल काम होता है मगर इस डिवाइस से कई घंटों का काम महज पांच मिनट में हो जाएगा।
अच्छे स्पर्म वही माने जाते हैं जो फ्लो के उलट टिके रह पाते हैं इसलिए वैज्ञानिकों ने सबसे पहले माइक्रोफ्लूडिक चैनल बनाया, जिसमें स्पर्म तैरते हैं। इसी में ऐसा सिस्टम बनाया जो दीवार की तरह काम करता है और सबसे मजबूत स्पर्म को अपने पास रोक लेता है। यह रिसर्च पीएनएएस नाम के जर्नल में छपी है।
