If the history of Native Americans tells us one thing, it is that if you use enough force and kill enough of them, while making them realize that resistance is futile, to steal a borg saying, you can relocate them anywhere you want. You can control the population through brut force.
The Palestinian And Israeli conflict seems to be a similar situation. The Israelis move into an area, force a group out of their homes, relocate them and build walls around them, and then drop bombs on them when they get out of line. Then call those who resist, who attempt to fight, terrorists. The world will support the “legitimate” government over proclaimed terrorists any day. That is until the terrorists begin using peaceful protests as a way to get support. They get positive news coverage, and they are slaughtered by sniper fire. They are mowed down by machine guns because they got to close to the prison fence they are unjustly kept behind. At that point the world wakes up, and realizes who the real terrorist is.
I know the Israeli Government is just trying to protect their interests. They may go about it brutally, but years and years of bombs being fired into their space has gotten them on edge. They legitimately have a reason to protect their people. I don’t think all the bombs, fences, guns is the right way to go forward. It has caused division, strife, and death for far to long.
The historical record in 30 years will show this as the month that the world began to turn on Israeli policy in the Middle East. It will show America on the wrong side of history. It’ll be looked at as the day Palestine became a victim in the eyes of the world, rather than just 2 million terrorists forced behind a fence.
problems will always exist one with power will try to dominate and this world is always changing, empires rise and fall, nothing is permanent in fact people die every day because we act with negligence. We are emotional beings and when acting without proper consideration out of anger or hate this leads to disasters.
