এরি মধ্যে জাপান এবং বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড় লোন প্যাকেজ সাক্ষরিত হয়। বাংলাদেশের ৬ টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রোজেক্টে এই লোন প্যাকেজ গৃহীত হয় যার আকার ছিল ১.৮ বিলিয়ন ডলার।
এই লোনের আওতায় মাতারবাড়ী গভীর সমুদ্রবন্দর ও যমুনা রেল ব্রীজ তৈরির কাজ অন্যতম। এছাড়াও DHAKA MRT-5 ও DHAKA MRT-6, মাতারবাড়ী কয়লা বিদ্যুৎ প্রকল্প এবং হেলথ সার্ভিসে অর্থায়ন এই লোনের আওতায় করা হবে।
