This is the kind of geopolitical shift which I keep an eye out for. I'm pleased and not particularly surprised that Russia ends up in a commanding position.
My bet is on the end of the petro dollar. The world is slowly shifting that way. The Saudis original deal with America (to require USD for oil & to reinvest oil profits in Wall Street) started the Petro Dollar era. It would be very interesting to see the Saudis stop using the USD.... Would also be catastrophic for the Americans. BTW I don't view that as a problem, merely growing pains & teething problems for a new system.
I expect America is either be very quiet or very loud, depending on what others are doing and depending on how desperate they are. I really don't see any way out of the American Empire's continued decline. About bloody time!
