Broccoli, The Type Of Bouquet I Love To Eat

in blog •  3 years ago

Hello, dear Hivers.

Today I'd like to make my first post of the day about this beautiful and edible green bouquet that I love to eat.

The broccoli is from the cabbage family and it's native to Eastern Mediterranean and Asia Minor. It was introduced to England and America in the 1700s. Nowadays can be found in almost every corner of the world and it's known for the many benefits it brings to our health when we consume it.

This wonder of nature helps us to protect our skin, sight, prevent diseases, lose weight, strengthen our immune system, hair, and nails, to keep us vital and energetic. I think I could spend all day naming all the good things it offers to us and I would still fall short. So let's see how it provides all this.

Now let's talk about how to pick the perfect one because this is an important thing to keep in mind when we are buying it. The first thing we need to see is a dark green and healthy color, the stem should be hard and firm and should not give off any bad odor.

How to cook it?

There are like 100 different ways to prepare it but I will add some links so you can get some inspo. In my particular case, I love to eat it raw, in omelets and grated with parmesan cheese.

Thanks tor reading and supporting.

Best regards,

Rima🥦💕
