Soil is necessary for life because most of our foods come from soil . It is true that some of us eat meat . But meat comes from animals that live on plants which again grow on soil . If we do not give food to soil , plants will become weak . Therefore natural and inorganic manure are necessary for cultivation . Nowadays compost manure is widely used in cultivation . Moreover agriculture scientists discourage the farmers to use pesticides, and they opt for a method of catching pests in traditional way . But it is not so popular .

This is true... People nowadays doesnt even care...

you are right roky! mother in soil

its true..

Farmer Joel Salatin has been lecturing about the importance of maintaining the topsoil for future generations. But the poet Wendell Berry is even more emphatic.

“The soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life.”
