Introducing you to - SeaAndSoulCharts

in blog •  6 years ago  (edited)

Hi There.....Are you a fan of Nautical Charts?

I beg your pardon.....you might be thinking 😦

Let me explain what a nautical chart is first. It is a graphic representation of the sea area and the coastal regions near to it. But I am sure it will become clear to you once you see what SeaAndSoulCharts has in store for you.

But first a little bit about how they got started. It began as a friendship between Bob and Anna who met while producing nautical charts for different companies.

Anna, the art director, and Bob, the manufacturer, shared besides what they were producing, a love for water, family, and friends. As a result of changing times, they decided it was time to work together under their own brand where they could ensure the best possible customer experience and have complete creative and quality control.

Almost 10 years ago Bob's company and Anna's company began working together to create personalized works of art. Having drawn and or manufactured for different companies over the last 13 year, the next step in the evolution was to manufacture their own brand with things like clocks, cribbage boards, serving trays and ornaments.

I bet I made you quite curious to see more about this amazing shop. Here are some of the Items I chose for you.

Welcome here! Those are some super cool maps. I'd love to see a post about how they are made. I'm a huge fan of process posts when it comes to artwork.

#powerhousecreatives

Can't show you how those maps are made - but I would be able to show you how to make a piece of jewelry if you would like that :)

That would be lovely! I've been meaning to make a post showing how I make books. I took all the pictures already - I just need to get around to doing it. :-)

By the way, I feel like the map making process is top secret now. If you showed me you'd have to kill me. Oh no!!!

:-)

#powerhousecreatives

These are AMAZING @seabeady!! And one of your top sellers is my very own Chesapeake Bay! Love it!!
I can spend hours pouring over nautical charts... such a cool collection of projects and unique gifts you’ve got on your hands

Regret to say they are not of my hand - it's a shop review that I did :)

Those are fun!thank you so much for sharing them with us.

Oh wow, beautiful charts and clocks! Thanks for sharing!

tx and you are most welcome :)

I like maps, and since I was a navigator on a sub when I was young, I always liked Nautical Charts too. Great idea, to present them this way :-)

Must agree on that one :)

Congratulations on your second post @seadbeady!

Along with my fellow #powerhouscreatives welcome to the Steem blockchain. I am not going to add to the already good advice that my fellow steemians have given you on your ealrier posts, except to suggest that you make use of https://steemd.com/@seadbeady and https://steemworld.org/@... as well as well as https://steem.supply/@.... to keep track of your payouts and resource credits (how many votes, comments and posts you can make). It is a little overwhelming to begin with and is a lot like gobbledygook, so be kind to yourself and try not to get too frustrated. I am sure many of the PHC crowd, in addition to @jaynie, myslef included will lend a hand - you will find us on Discord :D
Oh, and on my blog, you will find a relatively recent post about how long it took me to get going ;)

tx for the advice it is much appreciated :)
