Carnivore 75 Hard Redux: Day 16

Nutrition & Healing

OMAD again! For the past three days, the amount of time I fasted was almost the same, within five minutes or so. I'm eating everything for the day within about 45 minutes.

I almost forgot that I said I was going to get in one 36+ hour fast per week. I haven't done that so far this week. Maybe tomorrow! I think I forgot about it because I was preoccupied early this week with starting a new job.

My one meal today was the same thing as the past few days. Ground beef as burger patties, some eggs, some cheese, and some bacon. I swear I'll change it up again soon! If it's not broke, don't fix that shit.

Mindset

Most of this aspect of the Carnivore 75 Hard challenge came from the Waking Up app. I listened to the fifth meditation lesson in the app before work, and then I listened to one of the interviews. It was an interview with William B. Irvine and it was mainly a discussion about stoicism. There were a lot of great insights about how to just live a more joyous and purposeful life. Not letting setbacks anger me is something I'm working on and will continue to have to work at. This interview did a great job of putting it into perspective for me.

Movement

OMAD is cool, but I also like some longer fasts too. I like imitating lion eating frequency between 2-3 days too, also the 1 day fast 1 day eat style is also more my style than the 1-2 hour eating window.
