Hardinge Bridge is a steel railway bridge over the padma river located in western Bangladesh.

it is really so great.People of western Bangladesh often visit this place.
It is really a beautiful place.Usually people visit this place in holiday. This is also a busy place.
The bridge's total length is 1,798.32 metres.
Construction of the bridge began in 1910.It was completed in 1912.And it opened at 1915.
So you see it is really a old cool bridge in our country. But Hardinge Bridge was severely damaged during the Liberation War of Bangladesh of 1971.
The Japanese Government helped to reconstruct the bridge.
It is the second largest railway bridge in Bangladesh. Another bridge named Lalon Shah Bridge for road transport beside the Hardinge Bridge has recently been constructed.
