The last of 31

Finally. The last window installed.

Yes, that's me in the reflection standing on a 2x10x12 suspended via vivid imagination some 20 ft. in the air taking a picture of the last of 31 windows my partner and I have been installing on this big ass house out on Padre Island.
It's taken a solid month to get them all in. The old windows were recessed in to the framing and covered in stucco, so the extraction took a little longer than usual as we had to cut the stucco back then contend with some king of strange over framing that was underneath the stucco. It's no wonder they were leaking the way the previous install was done was nothing short of absurd.

You can see the damage cause in this area. We even had to take off the clay tile roof and replace a section of plywood all due to some idiot who drove a gazillion nails through the flashing during the previous install. I guess they thought they were doing the right thing. Not!
Anyways, that's pretty much all I've been doing for the last month. Come Monday morning we are going to be starting on removing and installing 6 double / French doors in the same house so it basically means more stucco dust and more long days in the South Texas heat. I'm not looking forward to it because the doors are impact resistant fibreglass and 10ft tall, eating they will be twice as heavy as a normal doorset. Lovely, just stinking lovely... Seriously though I'm so blessed to have a job and be able to work. Beside all that I'm making money ..woohooo...
