Yesterday I hung out with my friends at their trailer park at Cultus Lake, BC, Canada.
What a breathtaking view.Cultus lake is incredible as it really shows off the milestone of BC’s mountains ⛰. It’s just about a 2hr drive from downtown Vancouver if you’re up for a travel and treat. There are numerous activities including: RV and Camping, Cultus Lake Waterpark, cottages, golf, and trails, just to give a few.
Personally, if you have to do a one day trip, head to the beach 🏖 first. You don’t have to go to the trailer park, there are public beaches all around. If you’d like to pay out a bit more too, you can rent boats and sea-doos (but in B.C. you need a pleasure craft operators card to drive on the lakes). The lake is a glacier lake as well, so be prepared to get cold!
If you’re camping🏕, I really recommend going for some hikes the next day. There are a lot of great trails around, and lots of people running 🏃♂️🏃♀️ right along the road, get ready for lots of 🐶 on the trails.

I really like how the sun was bouncing off the clouds against the mountain ☀️☁️⛰. It looked better in person than on my phone’s camera.
And we what a campfire last night too. Nothing like the smell of a good campfire at night 🔥🌌, good beer and good company. Everything is good.
When camping be sure to check the fire bans that happen during the summers in BC as well. Fire safety is very important and we don’t want to lose any more of our amazing provinces forests🌲.
All I can say is, grab a few buddies and get out this weekend. Make some memories and have a grand time; just be sure to keep safe!
