Be a Thermostat, Not Just Another Nob!

You can't be successful until you allow yourself success. If you soley allow yourself to survive on purely "getting by," then that will engulf your existence. You will live your life "getting by" until you make a mental DECISION to do otherwise. Don't just sit back and be a follower your entire life. Pick yourself up and take the lead. Last place doesn't lose the race, only those who chose not to participate. Don't participate in empty ventures and nonfulfilling roles. That's a race you will be better off losing. Do participate in something that fulfills you and drives you to be better. A common mistake in thought, is that leaders simply pick and choose what needs to be done, and things just happen. This is false, leaders don't just assign tasks, they act as a thermostat for their entire team. Sure, you could just tell your heater to crank up the heat, but without controlling the output, everything will end up burnt. The same applies to life. Be a thermostat, not just another nob. ;)
