Waves

I’ve begun meditating on the ocean. Just staring at the sea from my window...scheduled twice daily, or anytime that I get stressed. It is so damn beautiful, that it’s all I want to do any ways.

Lessons I’m learning from the sea:

-it is constantly amazing without any effort or consciousness

-it’s movements never end. There is no such thing as stillness in the ocean...”the only constant is change.”

-nothing is separate. One wave crashes the shore and then begins to slip back into the sea. But the next wave comes crashing in and scoops back up part of the first wave that was going out. Rather than separate waves coming in and going out, it’s really more like a mixing bowl of water and the ocean’s energy is always folding in the molecules.

-waves are simply a gathering up of energy. They rise upon the surface of the source. Sometimes they crash dashingly into the shore. Sometimes they intersect with other surrounding waves blending, shifting, and changing directions. Sometimes they look like they’re going to be large and powerful, but then fizzle out half way in. Waves do not cling or attach to outcomes. They gather energy and form. They rise up and flow, intersect with other waves and change directions, or crash into rocks before reaching the shore. They never stiffen, resist, or complain. They only meld and flow with whatever comes before them or merged into them.

-people are exactly like waves, but with egos. We are simply a gathering up of energy, but then we begin to identify as separate from our source. We make plans and chose directions. We stake claims. When we intersect with the flow of other waves (people, events, rocks) we become very perturbed over the shift in the direction of energy rather than flowing with it. We cause all of our own suffering by identifying as separate and my making up what “should” happen in our heads.

people are exactly like waves, but with egos

This is so true. Our egos seem to prevent us from taking part in many life changing and exciting adventures. Those who have theirs in check are always happy with the little they have.

Ps
You're totally living my dream life. Just being one worth nature. Listening to the sounds of the ocean and birds make those little noises in the morning is something I long for.

Yes, when the ego is in check we can be happy with however little, or however much we have.

Ps. This is my dream life too, brother! 🙏🏽

Hey,

You are lucky to live close to sea where you could meditate. I wish I were that lucky. I agree with your philosopy of life, we all are waves and fighting with the air.

they are saying!
the sea itself is a meditation. I always liked watching the sea and listening to the voice. I appreciate the place you choose for meditation. ! And I'm so glad you are so beautiful. I can not believe how beautiful you are. When I get to your age, I will be very happy if I can stay as beautiful as you can!
you are great ! It is pleasant to follow you. :) hug

A yoga student of me doing handstand and watch the waves!

YOGASH CHITTA VRITTI NIRHODAH!!!!

waves are like thoughts and feelings...

And in a great moment of silence...
We can see down to the ground and see the treasure....ourself...

Hugs and Steem Aum dear spirit

The cycle of the waves is a great illustration of life itself. To be born, thrive then decay. Grab the moment

Yes! It’s very fleeting...Many lessons to learn from the waves.

Really its amazing , I also want to practice yoga to empty negative energy and charge positive energy. I see that you have reached a high degree of meditation. 👌

You are lucky man @sean-king

This time you have to make some movements in the place where the waves are located, In order to have more balance
Your movement is very difficult, well done

Beautiful pictures madam
We are here in Morocco you can not even get out of the house here cold
No one goes to the sea except in the summer
Enjoy your time with your wonderful husband
And your children also

they said that triangles transfer the energy faster

It is great place for meditating while listening sound of waves. I think that meditating and living in nature is the reason for you being young.

Have nice day...

It indeed is a reason to a sound mind keep up the habit :)

I wish you are enjoying there. I think you like yoga too. You can breath with fresh ocean air. Feeling happy to see you there. @steemed-open

That is one beautiful beach!

Clearly it's bikini weather - but is the water warm enough to swim there this time of year?

It’s refreshing!

Lucky u,living close to sea makes the body and soul feel cool and good.
Your posture amazes me,enjoy

So interesting,
You have clearly spend hours and hours of observing the ocean.
It makes me want to visit the ocean aswell.

I'm curious about what kind of observations you would make if you'd spend this amount of time in for example a pineforest or on grasslands.
I'd be looking forward to seeing you write about that aswell.

Love the post.
Have a nice day.

Perhaps your life is connected to the sea and its air has thickened, and it has returned along its water inside the house, so your life is on the beach, and you have learned the challenge, adventure and determination.
Thank you for your wonderful participation

You can never stop watching water and flame!

it asks for nothing the ocean. well apart from not filling it with plastic that is.

breathtaking. lets meditate. :)

Great insight, i love how you relate the environment to human behavior. I agree with you at some points, nature move in a certain way - governed by a force unseen (intangible) ~ youre right about that. We humans are also guided by the same equal force unseen - its the way of living and survival. On top of that, a much stronger force - our "freewill" this is what i think makes us unique. The choices we made are product of our own will and thinking, of course it's related with ego, which could be translated into being unique because of our will to stand-out. We all want to stand-out isn't? There are times that we pushed so hard that for others' interpretation is "egoistic". I dont think so, i think its just our way to survive.
That made me think deep, thanks for sharing your thoughts!

People are exactly like waves but with egos. I have to agree with there,we are separate, trying solve issues alone when rather it should be together true words, by the way great body nice flat belly.

Must be extremely relaxing wow! love it

I would so fall straight away LOL

Love this post!!

What a wonderful analysis of the sea. I miss living by the sea but I will again soon. I have recorded and occasionally listen to the waves. I can picture sitting meditating to it now. You've put such a wonderful images in my head, thank you 💯🐒

The ocean has been one of the best meditative environments for me, your post rings very true! Here's an album I like to listen to for zoning in on ocean vibes :-) Dirty Three "Ocean Songs"

so lovely ma.
Truly we are like waves, the storms come to make us stronger, We are to be resilient, dogged and sail against the storms.

The more we accumulate about a point, the more we will be stronger to oppose the Stormy waves, only if our ego will allow.

I share in your ideologies ma,
Puerto Rico is incredibly awesome.

I celebrate you @steemed-open

That view of the ocean is amazing, I am in love. You have such a great location. Great Vriksasana by the way!

I have learned so much from the ocean as well. All life originates from the ocean.
I'll never forget the time I was in ocean with some friends during a tropical storm, we were crazy for that. Somehow she took care of us, left some serious bruises, but they were the good kind.

Anyways, I think you'd love these guides I put together. They are about the sexual tendencies of each astrological sign, for both men and women. Also one about the physical body of each sign.
