"FOR the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHOSE HEART IS LOYAL TO HIM. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)

• A believer's Heart is always considered in his or her walking with God, and not their physical appearances:
7 BUT THE LORD SAID TO SAMUEL, “DO NOT LOOK AT HIS APPEARANCE OR AT HIS PHYSICAL STATURE, BECAUSE I HAVE REFUSED HIM. FOR THE LORD DOES NOT SEE AS MAN SEES; FOR MAN LOOKS AT THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART"" (1 Samuel 16:7 NKJV).

  • God judges based on the motivation of your heart. Is your heart right with God?
  • The Scriptural text says: "FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD RUN TO AND FRO [searching] throughout the whole earth, TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHOSE HEART IS LOYAL [perfect towards] TO HIM" (2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV).
  • Having a loyal or perfect heart means a matured Heart. A Heart that is committed to God, or pants, or longs, after God (Psalm 42:1).
  • God relates with each individual believer based on his or her Heart, and whatever He does for each individual, is largely based on the condition of such a person's Heart.

• What is Heart?

  • The Hebrew word translated Heart in the Bible passage means mind, understanding; thought and intentions.
  • 1 Samuel 16:7 was put in a better way by the New Living Translation of the Bible: "BUT THE LORD SAID TO SAMUEL, “DON'T JUDGE BY HIS APPEARANCE or HEIGHT, FOR I HAVE REJECTED HIM. THE LORD DOESN'T SEE THINGS THE WAY YOU SEE THEM. PEOPLE JUDGE BY OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART.”
  • What God usually looks for, in the life of whoever He wanted to consider for a blessing is, the heart, thoughts and intentions of the person.
ARE your thoughts and intentions right?

• God does not show partiality. He is no respecter of any person (Romans 2:11; Acts 10:34).

  • In other words, God shows no partiality. He is not partial. Not that He loves some and hates others.
  • God weighs the Hearts; motives, or thoughts and intentions, in individual's relationship with Him.
  • Your activities; zealousness, being charming and sanctimonious, cannot move God If they are not done with a right heart—good motivation.
  • Whatever you do with a polluted Heart in God's Kingdom or vineyard, is not acceptable.
  • And His blessings, or rewards, might not be released on you. His power and blessing might not flow to you—when your Heart is not right.
  • Peter made the statement when God baptized the Gentiles with the Holy Spirit, when the Jewish believers had the thought that such would never or not happen.
  • God did it without the consent of any person. God would not need anyone's approval before He does whatever He wants to do.
IN fact, Peter was still preaching when the Holy Spirit came down on the Gentiles:
"WHILE Peter was still speaking these words, the HOLY SPIRIT FELL ON ALL THOSE WHO WERE LISTENING TO THE MESSAGE [confirming God’s acceptance of Gentiles]" (Acts 10:44 AMP).
  • Peter had not even made any altar call, those people had not made any confession or whatever, God Who Saw their hearts went ahead and baptized them—filled them with the Holy Spirit, and with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
GOD Who knew their hearts bypass every procedure of being born-again.
  • God knew they had already received and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour in their hearts, without being led by anyone.
  • God knew sentiment would not allow Peter and the Jewish Believers there, to lead them in the receiving of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • Thus, He, God, went ahead without the Jewish believers' consent or approval and baptized or filled the people, the Gentiles—because they had a right heart.

• Right Heart.

  • If your heart is right, you are a candidate for blessings. If you fear God, honour Him in your Heart, and do what is right, you are accepted by Him (Acts 10:34,35).
  • It looks to some people, even the believers, as If God is against them, but He is not. It would be as If God loves others than He does love you.
  • The truth is, the place you give God in your life determines His move on the matters or affairs of your life.
  • God wants to show Himself strong on your behalf, in the matters of your life. You would have to give Him a chance, before He could do it—your cooperation is needed on whatever God would do in your life.

• It is my prayer that you will experience God's mercy and favour in Jesus' name.

  • He will show Himself strong on your behalf in Jesus' name.
  • Whatever is contrary to your health is rebuked and completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • The hold is broken now and never to rise again in Jesus' name.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
