My apologies to the folks, who wait up at night to get the daily dose before they go to bed, Tuesday was a very long day and there was a major disconnect within the cranium by the time it came to pulling out the computer to sit down and write this dose.
The circuitry between my eyes, hands and brain could not sync up properly.
Every time I started to type a sentence a red or green line would show up under a word in the sentence or the whole sentence. So I would have to stop and correct the problem, which was becoming very annoying. I may not be the worlds best when it comes to grammar according to Windows 7 but the people in my country, Texas, have no problem understanding what I am saying because I speak Texan not English. I may have to see if I can convince Bill Gates and his team up at Microsoft to come up with a “Texas Edition of Windows” as they go forward in developing their operating systems.
As for spelling, I have a pretty good background in spelling. I’ll have you know that several decades ago when I was in third and fifth grades I was the spelling bee champion of St. Agnes school for my grade level, and I was runner up in fourth grade. I might also mention that Microsoft is behind the time when it comes to words and spelling,” fixin” has been a long recognized word in the southern parts of the USA and Texas long before computers and Microsoft ever came along. You would think that by now they would have corrected their “spell check” feature to recognize that word, but no, I get a red line under “fixin” each and every time I use the word.
Spelling and grammar were just a part of the problem on Tuesday evening, display was another big problem. Each time I would stop typing for a couple few seconds the screen would go dark, in fact the whole room would. My brain would then have to restart the muscles in my eye lids and raise them to the full open position in order for me to continue typing. This was really annoying, each time it seemed to take longer and longer before those eyelids would cooperate with the brain. The final time it happened my eyelids remained shut for seven hours.
I’m not 100% sure that I know the exact cause of the problem but all indications are that it might have been caused by a low battery. I started my day at 4:00AM on Tuesday, by 7:00AM I was already at work meeting with customers and prospective customers at a one day training event that last until 5:00PM. That was a full day of being on my feet and giving my brain a real work out answering questions and asking questions of the folks that came by our booth. If that wasn’t enough punishment and drain on the battery I then had to drive three hours to get to the city I am working in today.
Night driving, or driving after dark, is especially draining on the old batteries since you have to have the headlights on, headlights aren’t sunlight and my eyes feel the difference. Lunch can only charge your battery so much and I didn’t stop for dinner on my drive so my battery was pretty well run down when I got to my room. Knowing that I was in the area where the “low battery warning” activates I ordered a pizza to be delivered, it was too little and too late. I ate half of it before the eye lids closed for the final time, but the pizza just couldn’t recharge the battery before my body went into sleep mode.
The good news is cold pizza is always good for breakfast, and since the room has a microwave and fridge, the left over’s did not go to waste. I am fully recharged and ready to write the Daily Dose of Sultnpapper, the only problem now is I’m out of time; I have appointments I have to get too. I promise though, I will “cheat”(save) time today, and plug some food in at the proper times and return this evening with plenty of charge in the batteries to get the daily dose out at the normal time.
Until next time,
@sultnpapper
Oh mr Papper, how did this Lizelle miss your post? What a delightful start to my Saturday! Read it out to my hubby and we both had a good chuckle, you have a real way with turning the ordinary into extraordinary, this was an excellent read!

Still the best kept secret on Steemit!

Must... eat.. the.. food!
Hope you have a recharge friendly day :)
By the way, you mentioned a while back that you want to be able to see how many active users are on Steemit? It's not up to the minute or times of day like you were looking for but @penguinpablo does reports that show the stats for steemit over a week->

Yes, sometimes it is best to slow down and recharge the body, I flat went past that point yesterday.
I did in fact discover the report that @penguinpablo produces and wrote about it in my daily dose on 12/11/17. I broke it down and did the math, roughly 6% of the total registered accounts posted or commented in the prior seven days from his 12/9/17 report. Here is the link to that dose if you care to read it. https://steemit.com/blog/@sultnpapper/daily-dose-of-sultnpapper-12-11-17-search-and-you-shall-find-yeah-that-s-right-i-found-what-i-was-searching-for-last-week-or-at
But I do appreciate you remembering and sharing it with me, he also has a new post up today about curation rewards changing at the next hard fork. Best I can tell, their are some whales who aren't real happy about it, his post was at $38 and a whale downvoted it back to $0.00

Thanks Sult. I missed your post somehow.
Yes! I saw that. I actually resteemed it and 2 min later a whale flagged it because he should have declined payout. As far as I could tell, this zeroed my voting power for the day. Seriously the higher ups should just stop getting worked up and talk about things before being self-entitled bullies.
