Hey Guys,
welcome to my DailyTopicBlog on Thursday with the topic "doctrines". Everybody has doctrines. There are positive & negative doctrines.
What are Doctrines?
Doctrines are sentences we tell ourselves. They can give us reasons to do something but they can also be excuses not to do something. In today's blog I explain to you what the negatives & the positives are, including examples and their explanation.
Negative Doctrines
Negative doctrines make no sense at all. You notice there are excuses and a lot of people use these excuses. These doctrines will eventually become a part of your thinking that you even teach your children. Negative doctrines are always taught to us. They usually never arise by themselves.
Negative Doctrines Example & Explanation
Doctrine 1: Rich People are bad People
Explanation 1: In the USA there are over 27 million people who have a fortune of over 1 million dollars. Now explain to me how you can claim that rich people are bad people. Most people have never even met a celebrity in their lives. So I think that this negative doctrine would be explained.
Doctrine 2: I don't have time
Explanation 2: The day has 24 hours and that's 86,400 seconds. Everyone has the same time. When you say I have no time you mean "I don't take time for it". But since people like to lie to themselves it seems to be the simpler statement.
Doctrine 3: I'm too old for that.
Explanation 3: Nobody's too old for anything. You just need motivation. Many people panic when they turn 30 or 40. But your life only becomes interesting when you are retired. You have lived your life, worked, started a family, maybe you have grandchildren.
In addition, in most countries you are fully contractually capable at the age of 18. That means you are actually 0 years old at the age of 18. For example, I am 26 years old, actually I am 8 years old. I don't have much experience in the business world, but that will have changed by the time I'm 40 or 50.
Positive Doctrines
Positive doctrines give us strength and reasons to do something. They give us motivation. Successful people only have positive doctrines but of course they also have negative ones. Don't find excuses not to do something rather find reasons to do something.
Conclusion:
Always think positive and banish the negative from your life.
