As I wrote in the previous post, I was born in the village of Dobrivlyany. So today's story is about, it is a picturesque and ancient Ukrainian village that is expanded in the Precarpathian region.
Emblem and flag of the village of Dobrivlyany
On three sides, the village is surrounded by woods, the river "Lug" passes through it, which divides it into half. It is located 65 km from the regional center of the city of Lviv, through the village passes the railway Lviv - Ivano-Frankivsk.
The village has a small living area of up to 400 people, in the village there is an old wooden church built in 1922, there is also a school for children from 1 to 4 classes, and also a people's home - a place where events of cultural significance are held.
During and after the Second World War, many villagers took part in the struggle for Ukraine's independence against the Nazi and Soviet invaders; in one of the battles, my great-grandfather died, I will talk about it separately.
In 1977, a local football team was founded in the village, full name of which was the Football Club "Lug", which functioned intermittently, and with all of this repeatedly won the championship and cup area.
At the present time, life in the village flows slowly and interestingly.
Welcome to Dobrivlyany)
