Road to triumph is a series of posts where I talk about my progress through life, and what I did during the week to reach my 2018 goals.
This series is not only to document my progress but to motivate me to, I’m always trying to achieve more and to better myself, documenting my progress makes me work harder for it, no one likes to post online that they failed, failure is a word that I want to take out of my dictionary, even though I know it’s impossible, failure is a part of life, and only through failure does one know what they can still improve on.
What I did last week to achieve my 2018 goals on steemit:

What I did last week to achieve my 2018 goals outside Steemit:
- Had a Pathology exam...
Diary:
Had a Pathology exam today, that's why I didn't post for a while, it went okayish... I hate exams that every wrong answer discount points away... I always leave these kinds of exams wondering if I passed or not...
I hate being forced to study! It's not that I'm lazy or anything, it's just that I hate being forced to do anything, and exams give me that "forced" feeling.
I spent the last 4 whole days studying just for one Pathology exam, only stopping to eat, drink or go to the gym (priorities right?). The worst part is that when I get stressed out I normally eat too much, thank god that I have the muscle mass to consume some of the excess calories I eat!
The next 2 weeks are without exams and I'm going to focus on steemit and cutting a little weight off my belly. I have to do this before the next round of exams starts, I'm going to have 3 exams in 3 weeks, I normally bulk during these exam periods since I eat more calories than I should ...
The only movie or tv shows that I had time to watch was DragonBall Super... any Goku's fans like me understands that DragonBall always comes first!
I still haven't bought any books, but I'm making a list of books to read during the summer! Thus far the list contains:
- Crushing It! - Gary Vaynerchuk
- Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future - Ashlee Vance
- Meditations - Marcus Aurelius
- Rich dad poor dad
- The Millionaire Next Door
Question of the day: Don't you guys hate the way our education system makes us memorize stuff just to forget about it a week later?

Man tell me about it, the educational system is so bad... I have spent 4 years at University and half of it a can't even remember because you're taught to just cram for exams.
There definitely needs to be a shake up, I don't particularly like large portions of coursework either as I think it's arguably too easy and University should force you to excel and try to be the best of the best, but the crammed exam culture certainly isn't perfect either.
Are your exams split between the year? At my University they were tempted to introduce January exams alongside summer ones too, but they didn't in the end.
I think that'd potentially help retention, along with maybe throwing in 20% of previous content into new exams, to ensure you still make sure you know it all going forward and can't just pass it and forget.

" half of it a can't even remember because you're taught to just cram for exams." - i was just writing a post about this ahahah
I have 1 month of exams in january and another month in july, we end up having 2 or 3 exams in 3 days... how can my brain even change gears between the different subjects in 1 day! I have exams about the theoric part, the practical part and sometimes even of the laboratory part, so 1 subject can have 3 different exams...
