This is my first apocalypse.
I know the thing has a bad reputation, but so far this apocalypse is doing just what it said on the package, and all kinds of exciting new things are being uncovered at a quickening pace practically every day. As it turns out, an apocalypse might be a great thing for most of us, while only the rulers and controllers of the planet are terrified of an unveiling of all truth and lies.
Should We Fear the Apocalypse?
Verily, the Bible is full of a great many things that are supposed to be bad, while we know that many of those very same things are actually pretty good. There's an entire tree of knowledge on that very subject, but since there are already so many deliberate contradictions in the text of the Bible, couldn't we then suppose that an apocalypse might actually be a good thing instead of something to be fearful of?
apocalypse | əˈpäkəˌlips |
noun
1 (often the Apocalypse) the complete final destruction of the world, as described in the biblical book of Revelation. See also Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
• (the Apocalypse) (especially in the Vulgate Bible) the book of Revelation.
2 an event involving destruction or damage on an awesome or catastrophic scale: a stock market apocalypse | an era of ecological apocalypse.
ORIGIN
Old English, via Old French and ecclesiastical Latin from Greek apokalupsis, from apokaluptein ‘uncover, reveal’, from apo- ‘un-’ + kaluptein ‘to cover’.
First, having a quick look at the word 'apocalypse' might make it seem less terrifying and destructive, because in its origins it simply means to uncover, or to reveal. An unveiling of any biblical significance should mean that during an apocalypse we would be able to see all of the hidden stuff come into view, whatever that stuff might be.
Name Any Conspiracy Theory...
Now that YouTube has decided to promote only the mainstream versions of reality with their recent decision to start shadow-banning independent conspiracy videos, it becomes more obvious who is really afraid of an apocalypse. Those who have been controlling the informational narrative through their various media outlets are horrified at the idea of regular people learning the reality of the world.
It could be that the internet itself is the apocalypse, as it provides a way for more regular people to access nearly every bit of information that exists. Indeed, it is partly through conspiracy videos and websites that humanity has begun to learn the truth about our world.
Remember when the conspiracy theorists all insisted that Osama bin Laden had nothing to do with the deadly Sept. 11th 2001 psychological operation known as '911'? Now, according to Yahoo Entertainment, (a reliable, trusted news source I'm sure) Osama bin Laden had nothing to do with 911 and was issues a formal post-humous apology from the CIA. The apocalypse does work in curious ways.
__
This apocalypse that's going on now, it ain't yer grandpappy's apocalypse. In the old days, everyone thought an apocalypse was a world-ending event for everyone on Earth, but now we can see that an uncovering is only going to be doomsday for a handful of individuals; those who have been trying to keep things covered up. For us to think that THE APOCALYPSE was something that we should dread was just the result of bad information, biblical disinformation and obfuscation, but every day that propaganda that our ancestors were fed becomes unveiled for what it is, and the truth of our reality is quickly being uncovered and exposed to the light.
Unless we have something to hide, an apocalypse should act as a beneficial head-cleaner for the world's general population, and even now-- before our very eyes-- the truth about our history and the reality of our current existence is being exposed in glorious digital formats across the worldwide web. The reality of our medical systems, the law, public education, and everything else on Earth is becoming clear to see as this apocalypse rages on.
Don't worry though, it's definitely doomsday for a few, but most of us will be excited and amazed at what the apocalypse reveals, and it might allow us a chance to regroup, rethink and rebuild the systems of co-habitation and to discover the true secrets of life that have been occulted for so long.

That's interesting. Yet one could say that the affect of unveiling the truth can lead to the violent destruction that we associate with the word as the rulers try to cling onto their control via force. So the four horsemen that the bible speaks of are often the results of that unveiling. Ever feel like this has happened before and the bible is just warning of this cycle?

Interesting to learn that the origin of the word is to unveil or uncover. Gives a whole new meaning to the word. I wasnt aware that youtube was censoring people. That's good to know. I say let the apocalypse happen. Let's uncover the truth and bring everything to light!

Yep, our language is constantly being changed, and words like apocalypse are given new meanings in the public's mind. Mass mind-control's most effective tool; language.
Let the apocalypse continue!

The same is true of words like Anarchy. (an-archy, without rulers)
It is only a bad word if you were the ruling elite.
No rulers is THE WORST state things could be in, if you are a ruler.
In chinese, a curse is "may you be born in interesting times".
Because interesting times are all about change, and new information, new ways of being. All the rules get changed. Not comfortable. Not quiet.

Indeed, our language is one of the greatest molders of reality, and as an anarchist I live with a 'no masters, no slaves' philosophy.
Interesting times these are, and congratulations for being born in them!

An interesting thing on 'no masters, no slaves'...
Many people do not want to get rid of bosses, they just dream of their time when they get to be the boss.
Everyone wants to be rich, not realizing that if everyone is rich, no one is rich.
Everyone has that dream of being rich... mostly to just hold it over their friends.
