Marco is a police officer, not for long. He's in jail now, he'll be there for a while. He screwed up, sexting kids from his desk computer at the police station, yeah not the brain of the year. But i ain't gonna talk about him, he deserves punishment.

Sara is Marco's wife. She came to see me. Four kids, one in a wheel chair. I was told she once was a beautiful woman, there's nothing left of that past now. How does she feel about that? i often think that the memories i have from 5 years ago belong to someone else, i wonder if she feels nostalgia, sadness, maybe a reflection of happiness when she remembers the bright days, before him, before the kids, before everything.

She works hard, she earns nothing. She can't properly feed the kids. I look at her eyes, they are sad, blurred. How does she do it? where does the strenght to get up and keep going come from?

Marco thorned her apart, he used to hit her hard, he left her, gave her a few bucks for the kids, then he stained the name of his family by comitting the nastiest crime, and now even behind bars he managed to fuck her up again. He receives some money from the police force until the case is closed, Sara used that money to feed the kids, now he took that money away. Guess what, he's willing to give it back, only if she visits him at jail, to give him some love you know.

Wonderful, what is a human capable of? We can part the atom, and the subparticle of the subparticle, we can create vast networks of information, blockchains and value. We can also innovate infinite ways of being cruel.

And she keeps going, everyday to her job, everyday looking at those hungry mouths. I guess love has something to do with it, kids can get the best of us out. I look at her sad, opaque eyes, she asks -can he really ask me, you know, to be with him like that, do i have to do it? I can feel how she was broken, i can see the shards, i'd fix her if i could, i just say -No, you don't. Don't worry i'll help, you'll pay me eventually, just give me some information i'll get in touch with him, come back next week .
