The Anticipation

in blog •  7 years ago

When we have a special event happening there is the pre-hustle and bustle of planning perfection. Placing every aspect under the microscope to see if the stars are aligning. Thinking and re-thinking all the working parts. Colors, settings, seating, decor. Then the grand event arrives and you hope somehow it melded together creating a masterpiece for all the senses. Anticipation has met Arrival. WHEW

It's the same feeling I have when I have a Today's Special at HSN, I have spent months getting ready. Emails fly in flurry, conference calls seem to happen back to back. Tweak here, correct there, samples arrive, practice, practice , write verbiage and talk some more. We have things called "blockings" and "walk throughs" jut like a grand wedding for the rich and famous. But even the most simple but refined affairs do the same when the desired result is to be restrained but well executed.

This will be my second Today's Special this month! That is a very good thing!

The star of the event is the Panasonic Advanced Ceramic 360 CORDLESS Iron. It has double points and a advanced ceramic sole plate that glides like room temperature butter on warm toast.

The colors are exclusive to HSN and are exquisite. Teal, Rose Gold, Marine Blue and Gold.

Its cordless. Sounds strange? The cord in the base that cradles it in safety and also recharges it in under 10 seconds.

It's so attention getting that we will have pre sales tonight Monday the 19th in the 7 pm hour on HSN and then again tomorrow Tuesday at 9 am hour and then the GRAND event arrives.

Anticipation Meets Arrival .

12 midnight on February 21st gives birth to the Today's Special with yours truly presenting it for 12 shows in 24 hours.

Like the bride who does not rest during the wedding or reception, neither will I. No rest for 35 hours.

But still its a good thing!

Then the event is over. How did that happen. WOW all that planning and its over. Now its the sweet memories and the photos of the random moments and posed perfection.

I hope the TV production melds together, creating a masterpiece for all the senses. Join me on HSN if you can, come dance with the bride. :)

Woff, woff!

Hello @vonabell, Nice to meet you!

I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.

KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!

Tips:

  • If you're not comfortable to write in Korean, I highly recommend you write your post in English rather than using Google Translate.
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
  • So, here's what might happen afterward. Your Google-Translated post might be mistaken as a spam so that whales could downvote your post. Yikes! I hope that wouldn't happen to you.
  • If your post is not relevant to Korea, not even vaguely, but you still use KR tag, Whales could think it as a spam and downvote your post. Double yikes!
  • If your post is somebody else's work(that is, plagiarism), then you'll definitely get downvotes.
  • If you keep abusing tags, you may be considered as a spammer. It may result to put you into the blacklist. Oops!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!

Woff, woff! 🐶

I LOVE your post!
While I do consider my typo a typo... I am so glad I made this typo because I loved getting this post, it has made me smarter and most importantly... made me smile.

Now I have Korean friends! I have had some Korean friends in Bible Study and now by error I have some Steemit Korean friends! I dont write or speak Korean so I wont bother you but tuck your lovely message in my heart and think of you often.

Thank you for your kindness! :)

A cordless iron. Sounds amazing and revolutionary. My late sweetheart used to iron a lot. I wonder what she would have thought of that. Thanks for sharing and good luck on your show @vonabell

Thanks for thoroughly detailing what goes on behind the scenes to promote a product. You make it look effortless!

@vonabell STEEMIT is only getting Better and Better !
