Me 13 years ago.

That is me 13 years ago when I was a part of a team to train Iraqi military cadets.
on 2005 I was in a team to train Iraqi military cadets, at that time the situation in Iraq started to be very dangerous, especially for person like me working with NATO to train the Iraqi military cadets, I still remember this picture was taken through a drill(rehearsal) in BESMAYA training area about 20 Km away from Baghdad.
My colleagues and I faced a lot of threatened because of our work, but we believed that we must accomplish this mission to supply my country with good officers to keep the country safe and stable. we lost a lot of colleagues during that time, we got scared, terrified and hopeless, but at the end, we decided to continue.

I don't know what happened, but things went very crazy, kidnapping, car bombs, ambushes, and assassinations were almost every day.

we suffered too much but we had our reward when we saw the cadets became officers that we can count on.
