I’ve been a manifesting powerhouse the last few weeks. Aside from the new sources of income popping up left and right, I’ve found more new friends than I know what to do with. One of my students and I really get along. She was introduced to me by a mutual friend and it turned out that we jammed together before. She plays accordion, teaches music and runs a company that puts on parties for other companies. She’s a ball of sunshine.
A few days ago I ended up at her sisters house for the party that I was craving. Now today after our class, she invited me to go with her to meet her new client. First we had lunch with five of her friends. They’re all artists in some way or another, and a few teachers. They all understand what I’m about and as their a bit younger, they don’t have that depressed air about them that many of my 30+ artists have about them.
It’s funny how for a while I assumed I knew everyone in “the scene” here. Actually I probably did, but that was three years ago and the younger generation of artists is much more diverse than my generation because this town was not much of a cultural center until about five years ago.
This is all a really nice change for me because I had been surrounded by depressed people for so long that I didn’t even realize they were depressed, or that it had rubbed off on me. So many people get to a certain age and still haven’t accomplished what they set out to accomplish and start to get rather cynical, or even more cynical. They cave in under the pressure to conform or just feel broken under the weight and kind of lose it and become erratic or depressed as their friends slowly start to go off and do their own think.
I never want to be like that. I always want to be full of hope and energy. I always want to try and spread love and excitement and freedom and experimentation and art and happiness in every corner of life that I find myself in. I never want to get old, even if my body grows old. I always want to have fun. Even when I finally have a family of my own, I am going to make sure the whole process is fun. Sometimes others may think of me as irresponsible, but as far as I’m concerned showing love and being consistently me and reliable as possible are really all I need to be. If it’s stressful I’ll make a game out of it. And I’ll always try to focus on what I can change and ignore what I can’t.
Anyways, we are about to go out for drinks so I’ll put this down now, just wanted to share with you guys how you can turn your thoughts into reality when you just don’t worry too much about it and always follow your excitement.
Life works in mysterious ways! Glad to know your manifestations are well manifesting. I've been slowly working away at my dream too and I do kinda feel that the thought-waves you put out kinda get reflected back. Hope you stay optimistic and keep churning out those good vibes.

They so do. And you are also reflecting, so whenever you see something you don’t like outside, you can find it’s counterpart inside and work on it. Change the world by changing yourself :-) I’m hoping to fix my body this year and perhaps then I can go visit your little paradise.

That personality is priceless, being able to bring the fun out of everything no matter what. Most people wish they had that ability, including me. And I think it comes down to being ultrareal and precise with your happiness

It’s a muscle! I’ve been both ends of the spectrum. It’s all about where you place your focus in each moment. The more you are in the NOW, the better and the more you focus on what you can do and enjoy rather than what is happening to you, the better.

I’ve been trying to muster up optimism while surrounded by depressed people for four years...I can’t wait to see what I can do when I’m surrounded by inspiring people.

It is so good that we find new friends to hang out. Who knows they could be the friends we have been long waiting for.
