I think in general isolation is a requirement for complete freedom, but you don't have to be lonely. riding 2 up or with a good riding buddy can give you individual time on the road but a shared experience at the destination.

No, I meant that in spite of everything, it is just you inside your helmet. And that feeling is different. I am not talking about physical isolation, rather a mental isolation. Many of these moments are felt only by you, and only at that particular instant.
