Almost Half Way to the Starting Line

in blog •  7 years ago

I am super excited today. I got a huge payout from a post last week.

I claimed the reward and transferred all of the Steem and Steem Dollars into Steem Power.

This brought my total VESTS to 15,130. According to @steemitboard , I am a RedFish. I created my own scale. According to my scale, I transitioned from Algae to Krill.

According to my wallet. I have 7.443 SP and Steem allocates +7.557 to my account. My voting power is still 15.

I figure that 15.001 Steem Power is the starting line. So, 15+ is my goal.

The moment I cross that elusive starting line, my account will have greater voting power than a new account!

I've been studying the formulas. The next big thing after the Starting Line (15 SP) occurs when I get 30 SP. At this point my 100% upvote we be worth more than the rounding error ... and that is where things get interesting.

Things will become supercharged somewhere between 50 and 60 SP, when my upvote becomes worth 0.01 !

Anyway. I am truly stoked tonight. I am just 63 days into my account. With just 271 posts, my account is almost an eighth of the way to the point where my upvote will be worth a penny!

And, yes, my Steemian followers, I am easily excited. I plucked this picture of a red poppy out of the garden to celebrate this milestone.

Congratulation for reaching this milestone, @yintercept. Your level scale is funny. Woud you mind if I use it in a future update of SteemitBoard?

I would be truly honored. I think SteemItBoard would have a fun time naming the lower powers of ten. There is a great dealt of interesting microscopic life in the sea ... plankton, corral and more.

As there are filter whales that feed on krill; I think it would be a hoot to have a level called krill. I would love to see the marine life scale expanded to include some microscopic life.

it is good to have your own transition,
Welcome to the redfish!
