Helping to support and feed the homeless

Following on from my blog late last year, I thought I would give you an update of how Matthew @steemblogs and I were getting on.

Last week, we were able to take to the homeless a further cheque for £100 and also £90 worth of food. This takes our total fund raising to in excess of £3,500.

The feeling you get when you 'pop in' to see them is fantastic and well worth the early 'get ups' to go car booting.

Why not give it a go? Think of a charity that is local or close to your heart. Do a little research on the best person to make contact with. Ask them what help they need - is it monetary donations, items of food or clothing, maybe it is just some of your spare time.

Trust me, if you take this small step you will make giant leaps in your own life as far as well-being, whilst benefitting those less fortunate.
