There is a stack of great social blogging sites, but as usual, it is user beware because as we know they can disappear as quickly as they become established and you then lose all your great work. So over at Infobunny.com and HowTo8App.com we have always endorsed their use but with caution.
But with all the caution comes one big reason why you should use them. And that is you can use them to promote what you post on your main blog site. If you are active on sites like Steemit,Patreon and Medium then you can very easily build some very nice traffic from click through views from your posts. But you can take this a step further if you want as part of a SEO STRATEGY.
Here is how it works
You decide on 2 or 3 social sites as your main blogging sites and you create good quality content on them and you link them into your main blog. Then you decide on 2 or 3 more blog sites that you can create on and then link into the posts you create on the main social blog sites. This gives the links to the main site more authority because you have made a tier of backlinks that are getting backlinks.. Make sense?

well that this te downside of social blogging, you should look to building your own blog site if at all possible and use socials and blogging socials as just tools
