Truth about making money from blogging by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik

Originally I was not a blogger. I started my blog in 2017 because after operating my broadcasting and media company things had been slowing down. I had been planning on retiring in 2018.
I operated Outlaw Sports Radio and Outlaw Sports Entertainment since 2002 and I retired in 2018.

I was not really thinking of making money from a blog when I started my blog.

It was a way for me to keep doing what I loved talking about sports.

However as the sports slowly drifted away so I opened my blog about my life and my story.

Today I blog about Sports, Tv Shows, and I do reviews.

I blog about places to visit, traveling, daily life events, cash living, tiny homes, credit and healthy living.

I have opened a whole new world.

Today I have changed my company to Tomsik Media and Production Company and though Covid 19 has stalled some of my projects I have been able to keep my blog going.

So you can find me all over the internet on social media and yet my blog is not a mainstream source of income. I do make money from my blog but like you I would like to make my blog be a good source of income.

The truth is there are ways to make money blogging but it takes time and effort.

Recently I checked out a few programs that help you build a blog.

I found that the advice and training they give is how they really make the money.

Most of them are charging you a fee or they make money from advertisements or leads or commissions from you buying products in the training programs.

I am going to tell you there are some truth to what these programs tell you.

There are things you need to do to start a blog and make money from that blog.

First of all you will need to purchase and make a domain name

I do not recommend the free ones because often they add there link into it.

You can get a domain name from several sources like Go Daddy, Blue Host ,Wix and other sights that sell domain names.

The cost of this depends on a lot of factors but for $20 or less you should be able to purchase a domain for around year.

After that you need to build a web page to post your blog.

The same companies I listed above sell ways to create web pages that can be directed to your domain. Of course this will cost you expect around $10 a month on the cheap side to have your web page online.

Do some research and make your own decision on what service and host company is best fore you.

So I am giving you information for free, no charge, no strings attached, no fees, no money.

All I ask in return is that you follow my blog and web pages or join me on social media.

This is one way and something your going to have to do as well to build and make money from a blog.

Here is the issue you have this blog idea, you get a domain name, a web page and than you put your blog out there in the world.

Mostly on the internet and than ask yourself what should I do at this point?

The next step is build an audience of readers, you can do this by adding social media to your blog.

This is why I am giving you information and asking you to follow me or share my blog because you need to build followers, subscribers, and readers to your blog.

This will be important if you want to make money from your blog.

One way to make money from your blog and is absolutely free for anyone is GOOGLE AD SENSE.

Google allows you to put ads in your blog and pays you for people clicking the ads. This is where the more readers and people going to your blog the more chances you have of people clicking the ads and you making money from the blog.

However building your blog may take time so there is another way I recommend to make money from your blog.

SELL ADS:

Selling ad space on your web page or blogs. Companies spend millions of dollars on advertising and if you can show a company that advertising on your web page or blog will bring them customers than they will pay for advertising on your blog.

If your considering this you will need to make a sales pitch to the companies as why advertising with you will benefit them. Knowing how many followers you have, age groups, and other info can be helpful and most blog sights provide this information and data.

BECOME AN AFFILIATE OR PARTNER:

Become an Associate or Partner with a company. Many companies have programs where as you can become an affiliate or partner of the company and through this you place links on your blog for the people to check out the products or services of this company. In return these companies pay a commision or fee back to you. You can usually find these programs on the bottom area of a company web page.

PAYING SOMEONE TO HELP YOU:

So here is the truth that some companies do not want to tell you they make money from charging you a fee to build your blog. They have made arrangements with host companies, and than they build a program to help you build and make money. I am not saying that this is bad but the truth is they charge $300 or more for the program.

You can do it yourself with no fees no money up front.

HOW MUCH CAN I MAKE BLOGGING:

Do not expect a lot right of way according to research by various government agencies not done by me report some bloggers make over $32,000 per year and up.

The main way they make the money is advertising, sponships, pay per clicks.

According to research not done by me but by various other government agencies a new blogger can make up to a $1000 per month, but most new bloggers only make about $3.50 per day.

To make money getting your blog out in the world is the most important part so lets help one another and share our web pages and blogs to attract more readers, followers, and we can work together to make a living.
