Regardless of the possibility that you don't have any acquaintance with it from the films, it's as yet a dazzling extension in a staggering spot. It's actually a "viaduct", i.e. a scaffold with numerous littler ranges. In the event that you Google "Harry Potter connect" it realizes that you mean the Glenfinnan Viaduct, only north of the town of a similar name, and about a thirty minutes west of Fort William.
Advantageously for motion picture fans (or extension fans, I figure), the Glenfinnan Viaduct is anything but difficult to get to, only a couple of minutes stroll from an auto stop.
I did only that, and here are a few pics and a vid.
There is a parking area, however it's very little. When I was there, top summer on an uncommon bright Scottish day, it was stuffed full. Only a hundred or so meters more distant not far off there's somewhere else to stop, before an old church.
In spite of the fact that on the guide it would appear that there's a street you can drive up to the scaffold, this is private. You'll have to walk. It's generally level, however.
Once up to the extension you have a couple of decisions. Going right weaves you under the ranges, at that point up close by for a view southwest of the scaffold (as in, you're upper east).
This is the place I took a large portion of my photographs.
This, and the inverse side, are very saturated. It is Scotland all things considered. Wear shoes you wouldn't fret getting wet or potentially sloppy.
On the off chance that you rather go under the extension and continue strolling north, there are a couple of detects that offer cool perspectives, similar to this and this. I didn't climb that heading however.
