Last year, we organized International Youth Day 2016 under the theme of responsible consumption. I wish to present our program on steemit so it create awareness among youth generation and also makes the post more visible by google. Responsible Consumption is the 12th goal among 17 sustainable development goals developed by UN in 2015. Every country have been working on this issue and implementing in their countries to achieve the goals By 2030. For this reason, I named my organization "Road To 2030".

My school name was “Community School ” Read My first post on steemit a year ago. On 12 August, 2016. We organized an event in our to celebrate an international youth day and it was organized by @SchoolForSDG4 (Former Community School) and inaugurated the project Road To 2030.

I discussed with some close friends and visited some schools to convenience school authorities so they allow us to plant trees at their schools. We raised some fund from our personal networks to make the campaign successful and buy around 65 trees.

On 26th July, 2016

On 26th July, 2016 we visited many schools and orphanage centers and many of them agreed with us. We selected the date on 13th August 2016 to plant fruit trees. In the mean time, I sent an email to United Nations to include our youth day event in their map. I got an email from United nation and they also included our event in their world wide event maps.

I made an facebook event page to ask more friend to join with us and invited some more volunteers to join The Road to 2030 event on 12th August, 2016.

On 12th August, 2016

I presented my presentation motivational speech on Responsible Consumption and importance of youth in global change. Later we went for open discussion.

Later speech from audience and group picture. We organized open discussion to make next day tree plantation successful. I was offering free fruits for children once in a week. However, Our school has no land to plant a tree but I wished to plant fruit trees in some local schools and orphanage centers so they get nutritious fruits every time and in different reasons.

On 13th August, 2016

We are with our childhood school teacher Kritindo kumar Das ( Head Master of PDB High School, Sylhet, Bangladesh) And student of the school to celebrate youth day 2016 and plant fruit trees at their school.

It makes me so proud that many teenagers students from the schools joined with us and helped us in planting trees. Later we went to a orphanage center.

At the end of the program and completing tree plantation, we took a group picture with orphan kids.
