Golden Linz - View from the Pöstlingberg over the city

in bluehour •  6 years ago  (edited)

As you might already know i like to take pictures from cities from above. I really enjoy the nice feeling such a view gives me, so i often visit hills nearby cities like Linz, Innsbruck or Salzburg to have a nice view down to the city. I like it when you can hear the noises of the city, cars, traffice, industry or whatever, this gives me the feeling that everything is still there and the world is still turning. This is a very relaxing thought for me. Even today i enjoy nice views over the city every day because i live somewhere outside over the city of Linz and have a very nice view over the citylights in some distance.

Back then when i took this pictures it was a very nice summer day and also other photographers where taking pictures of the city from the same position. It was a warm day in the summer and this spot is pretty nice when you want to take a rest and let the sounds and the lights take influence to your thoughts and your soul. Calming down from a stressful day at work or just to watch the city awake in the night with all the lights it produces.
