The Types of Farsightedness

Myopic is a condition where a person has difficulty seeing clearly. This term is also often interpreted as blurry vision. Several natural conditions can be the cause of myopia, such as aging. But blurred vision can also signal certain health problems. The types of farsightedness are myopia and hyperopia. In addition to these two there is also night blindness. Night blindness or nyctalopia is a condition where the eyes cannot adapt to low light conditions, such as at night. However, night blindness is not a condition, but rather the result of an existing eye disorder. Nearsightedness or myopia is a vision problem that allows the sufferer to see objects that are close up clearly, but if they are far away they appear blurry. On the other hand, farsightedness is a focus problem that makes vision blurry when looking at objects up close. This condition can develop slowly or quickly. Treatment options include wearing glasses, contact lenses, and surgery.
