Ty Wil Music has released his first Solo debut after an industry hiatus. Embarking and evolving as an RnB artist signed to Universal Records in the late 90's, James "Ty" Wilson fka Tai Blaq, spent years recovering from a near-fatal car accident. Still maintaining his musical pedigree as a keyboardist and music director at area faith-based institutions and churches, Ty Wil is one of most sought-after musician, ministers of music, singer and jingle creator in Central Florida.
Currently "Ty" is completing a genre-diverse EP with a low budget, however, his passion for songwriting, music production, musicianship, and lead/background vocals is priceless. Refusing to limit his abilities due to a sometimes debilitating condition; epilepsy, Type II diabetes and other conditions, "Ty" has proven his trust in God is spot-on, and commitment to excellence will continue.
The father of four children and married to the love of his life and manager; Tina Wilson, he balances fatherhood and ministry despite life's unannounced mandates of trials and test. Ty Wil Music creates the most heartfelt music in his home studio and has honed his sound engineering skills while utilizing top brand software and possessing an excellent ear for music and vocal production. Though "Ty" was formerly taught in middle and high school as an alto-saxophonist, he soon started playing piano and later keyboard by ear. He plays some organ and bass, but his primary instrument of choice are his beloved Roland, Korg Kronos, and Yamaha Motif 8 keyboards.
Ty Wilson has professional songwriting and vocal bragging rights to present, yet he chooses to look forward to his solo debut and future as a solo artist.
