2015 or 2016 model year vehicles sold or leased by BMW Center certified after July 1, the BMW Maintenance Program covers 2014 for the first four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. These maintenance programs cover the entire factory-recommended maintenance as outlined in the vehicle warranty and service booklet. Certain other items that require replacement due to normal wear and tear and are not covered by the Original New Vehicle Limited Warranty, such as brake pads, brake rotors, and wiper blade inserts, are subject to wear within limits of BMW wear standards, including if exceeded.
The following items are excluded from compensation.
- Vehicle inspection and exhaust gas test
- Oxygen sensor replacement
- Maintenance service tasks performed on a vehicle with an ineligible/inactive/expired maintenance schedule
- New Vehicle Limited Warranty Repairs for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks
- Maintenance services are performed by service facilities other than Authorized BMW Centers in the UAE
- Other eligible maintenance services are performed earlier or more often than specified, including engine oil services and combined engine oil services
- gasoline and diesel
- additives for gasoline and diesel
- fuel filter for gasoline engine
- diesel glow plugs
- Diesel particulate filter
- DMTL and NVLD system filters
- Minor fluids (motor oil, cooling system antifreeze, washer fluid, etc.), except in conjunction with an eligible scheduled maintenance service, as described on the printed customized maintenance checklist.
- Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) replenishment (unless performed in conjunction with eligible scheduled maintenance as outlined on a printed custom maintenance checklist)
- tires and wheels/rims
- Wheel alignment, tire balancing, rotation
- Parking brake shoe/lining
- Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Reset (unless done in conjunction with a qualified scheduled maintenance service as described on your personalized maintenance checklist printout)
- Wear and tear of soft trim items such as seats, carpets, trim, headliners, door panels, and all chrome trim
- Derivatives resulting from negligence, improper operation of the vehicle, wear and tear due to driving habits or conditions, improper repair, environmental effects, flooding, accident or fire damage, road salt damage, alterations, installation of equipment other than; Damage, including physical damage - use of original BMW accessories or improper, poor quality or contaminated fuel
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or odometer irregularity or inability to determine actual mileage
Non-Transferability
These maintenance programs are only available to the original purchaser, owner or lessee of a new sales demonstration vehicle, aftermarket mobility program or BMW vehicle from an authorized BMW Center in Dubai. Coverage is not transferable to subsequent purchasers, owners or lessees. The only non-transferable exception to coverage is Household Transfers: Authorized BMW to a member of the household of the original purchaser, owner or lessee of a BMW vehicle in Dubai. Transfer from the centre: Coverage does not end.
