Well, today turned out to be a pretty fine day. The wife and I went out to a local board game cafe and celebrated one of the most valued days among us and our friends. It is especially important in these recent years because I just filed the LLC for "Brb Games an Entertainment" which is in much need of some creative flow to jump start it again.
I know I mentioned this in a previous post, but to summarize why board game day is so important goes back to our original adventures in Australia. We found this interesting business model of a shop that let you come in and play their selection of board games for a minor fee and provide a wide variety of a cleverly named food items such as "settlers of Chickan." They had a liquor licence which seemed like a good idea and a very pleasant environment. We thought it would be cool to have something like this in the future, so we set out to further built our collection and work toward building something for ourselves.
The origina place that we saw was called "The Hungry Hippo" and it was a delight.
We've been learning oodles of games at a local game shop "Crepes and Games" and got to spend the day there today. It was a good day.
